Stainless Steel Wire Mesh

We supply woven stainless steel wire mesh in grades 304, 304L, 316 and 316L. It is widely used for screening, filtration, sieving, machine protection and ventilation, as well as food and chemical processing. Available in rolls, sheets, strips, discs and custom cut pieces.

We adopt plain weave for standard square mesh, twill weave for fine mesh, and Dutch weave for professional filtration. Please confirm material grade, mesh count, wire diameter, width and edge style before placing orders.

Specifications

Material: 304, 304L, 316, 316L and 302 stainless steel. 304 for general screening and fabrication; 316/316L for chemical, marine and chloride-rich environments.

Mesh Count: 1 to 635 mesh per inch. Coarse mesh for safety guards, fine mesh for filtration and sieving.

Wire Diameter: From 2.03mm (1 mesh) down to 0.0203mm (635 mesh).

Aperture: Ranges from 23.37mm (1 mesh) to 0.0203mm (635 mesh).

Open Area: 25% to 84% for standard square mesh, varies by mesh count and wire diameter.

Roll Width: 0.914m, 1.0m, 1.22m, 1.5m. Custom slit widths available for strips and filters.

Roll Length: Standard 30m. Short rolls, sheets and cut pieces are acceptable.

Surface Finish: Natural finish. Degreasing, cleaning and polishing can be done on request.

Edge Type: Cut edge, selvage edge, slit edge. Edge protection for fine mesh rolls.

Processing: Slitting, cutting, disc punching, frame welding, pleating, filter cylinder and mesh basket fabrication.

Packing: Wrapped with moisture-proof paper and plastic film, then packed in cartons, wooden cases or pallets.

40 mesh 316 stainless steel mesh for liquid filtration, chemical screens and oil filter layers. 316 grade offers better resistance for harsh media and marine environments.

100 mesh 304L fine mesh for fine sieving, laboratory screens and small filter components. Low-carbon 304L complies with strict drawing requirements.
